Built for the people
behind the window.
Craev started with a simple observation — food truck operators were being handed tools built for someone else. We decided to build something different.
The industry left food trucks behind.
Food trucks are one of the fastest growing segments in the restaurant industry. But the tools built for them were never built for them. They were adapted from restaurant platforms, delivery apps that bleed operators dry, and scheduling tools designed for someone sitting at a desk.
The result? Operators juggling five different apps, losing 30% of every order to commission fees, and still posting their location on Facebook because nothing better exists. We saw that and couldn't ignore it.
I didn't find a gap
in the market. I watched it every day.
I'm a Charlotte local, a military veteran, and a software engineer. I built Craev from scratch — every line of code, every design decision, every feature. Not because I had a team or funding, but because I saw a real problem and I had the skills to do something about it.
“Food truck operators are some of the hardest working people I've ever seen. They deserve tools that actually work for the way they work.”
The food truck scene in Charlotte is alive. These operators show up before dawn, serve hundreds of people, and run an entire business from a vehicle. But the platforms they rely on were built for restaurants sitting on a corner. That mismatch was the problem. Craev is the answer.
My background in sales and business development taught me how to build relationships and close deals. My military background taught me how to execute with discipline when things get hard. And building software taught me that the best products are built by people who genuinely understand the problem they're solving.
I understand this problem. I've sat across from operators, watched them manage their day, and listened to what frustrates them. Craev is built from those conversations — not from a whiteboard in a conference room.
We're launching in Charlotte this summer. The platform is completely free for operators — no monthly fees, no commission cuts on your sales. After Charlotte, we expand. Raleigh, then the Southeast, then wherever food trucks roll.
Free for operators.
Simple for everyone.
Craev is completely free for food truck operators to join and use. No monthly fees. No subscription costs. No commission cuts on your revenue. We keep the platform accessible because operators already work hard enough.
the tools to run a smarter,
more connected business.
A wide open market.
No dominant player.
Built to win.
The US food truck industry is a $2.8B market growing at 13.2% annually. No single platform holds more than 3% share. Craev is positioned to own the space — starting with Charlotte and expanding across the Southeast.
We're raising a seed round to fund our Charlotte launch, marketing, and sales operations. Every dollar is accounted for. If you're interested in learning more, reach out directly — we respond to every inquiry personally.
